Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard hailed in-structure Christian Pulisic after the Blues star scored again in Tuesday's five goals win in  Premier League against Crystal Palace.
Pulisic scored his eighth goal of the season from only 16 beginnings and third since the season restart following the coronavirus-implemented break as Chelsea edged Palace 3-2 at Selhurst Park.

After Olivier Giroud's early goal, Pulisic multiplied the lead moving toward the half-hour mark before Palace star Wilfried Zaha diminished the shortfall heading into the span. Later, Tammy Abraham's 71st-minute strike guaranteed Chelsea moved above Leicester City into the third place of Premier League table.

Lampard was loaded with acclaim for the United States star footballer, Pulisic – who joined Chelsea from Bundesliga i.e from Borussia Dortmund earlier this season, soon after  Blues star Eden Hazard went to Santiago Bernabeu.

"I didn't set any limits for [Christian Pulisic]. I knew the ability he had and I needed to help him when he originally arrived in light of the fact that this is physical football league, I think the best class of the league in view of its physical nature," Lampard told journalists.
"He came in and he'd had no break, so we must be cautious. I attempted to deal with the start and he came in and played extraordinary for us.

"Shockingly he had a physical issue(injury), a significant awful physical issue. However, the craving he has, the quality that he's appearing, and the final result, which is the primary concern for me.

"Top players on the planet in his general vicinity, striking and attacking players, do score goals. They dominate and win matches, they make differences, they assist. What's more, in the restart he's been awesome."

On the edges at Stamford Bridge, Lampard said of Gilmour's choice in front of Jorginho: "I figured Billy did really well. I wasn't excessively enchanted with our midfield today. I think thinking about how they have played in late games and how smoothly we have moved the ball in ongoing games and turn, I thought we clutched it somewhat long today.

"The explanation I played Billy is a decision. The two games Billy played before lockdown against Liverpool, most likely the best group on the planet, and Everton was phenomenal."
