The investigation also found that Cuomo and her close team retaliated against at least one former employee for reporting her experience.

James said the evidence found during the investigation would be made public with the report.

At least eight women, current and former workers, have denounced what they said were inappropriate words and gestures on the part of Cuomo, whose management of the covid-19 pandemic, on the other hand, was praised across the country.

A former employee said the governor reached under her blouse last year.

Cuomo denies engaging in sexual harassment behavior and rejects requests for his resignation, which have even been joined by fellow party members from New York and the US Congress.

In March, President Joe Biden opined that if the allegations against Cuomo are proven, he should resign.
