Basho Valley Skardu, About an hour and a half away from the central city of Skardu, Basho شو,  is a beautiful valley of the city. The valley is covered with lush forests of cedar, juniper, and other trees, pastures, and lush green vegetation, amazing springs that make it a part of paradise. Even in summer, the tops of the peaks are covered with snow.

If you have visited the city of Skardu, this place should definitely be on the list of places to visit as it is close to the city and you can enjoy the natural beauty of the Himalayas and Karakoram peaks in one place. When you are on the grasslands of the Busho Valley, you will see two of the highest mountain ranges in the world. Bashu itself is on one side of the Himalayan valley and across the Indus are the rocky mountains of the Karakoram mountain range. So you will observe a glowing icy summit of two mountain ranges some 11,000 feet above the surface. The best thing is that you can return to Skardu city after visiting the valley by jeep. You can enjoy fishing and taste a variety of fruits: apricots, apples, grapes, etc. Remember that the road to this valley is uncontrollable and can only be reached by jeep or Toyota to the top of the pastures. Small vehicles such as taxis, Suzukis, or cars will not be able to reach the top.
