Snow leopards are found in the Karakorum and Hindukush ranges of Gilgit Baltistan, KPK, and Azad Kashmir. Their population is around 300-450 in Pakistan. But if we talk about their existence in Gilgit Baltistan then we get some interesting and progressive stats of the snow leopards' lives. In Naltar Gilgit snow leopards have safe sheds where the conservatory team takes care of them. It's really delighted to know that in the Baltistan region snow leopards got great care from an NGO which works for their conservation and this NGO is being led by Ghulam Muhammad Sadpara here in Skardu. In short, now these snow leopards are under good care and safe hands.
