Sarfaranga cold desert is a vast desert located in Skardu city, the name Sarfaranga was given to this desert because of a small village named Sarfaranga which is located in this desert.

Sarfaranga is a beautiful small village in this desert, in which really polite and nice people use to live, the place got its fame because of the desert there which is really really vast and beautiful and is most feasible and suitable to visit and capture some amazing and everlasting memories.
Initially, Sarfaranga was just only known to the locals and the local people of Skardu use to visit this desert to have some photo sessions but that was too rare means this desert had not a rush of humans.

How Sarfaranga Desert Got Fame?
Sarfaranga got its fame and attracted, hundreds of thousands of people from all around the globe, after the government organized the Sarfanranga Jeep Rally and Motor Bike Rally. Just like Cholistan which is now a center of jeep rallies in Pakistan. So such events boosted up the tourism scope of the Sarfaranga desert. |

When reached Skardu then you can easily find the directions to reach Sarfaranga Cold Desert,it will take about 40 Minutes to reach Sarfaranga cold desert from Skardu Airport
