Shabe-Barat is an important date in the Islamic calendar Shab-e-Barat is observed on the 15th of Shabaan, as Shabaan itself is a blessing month of Islam. Shab-e-Barat starts from the midnight of the 14th Shabaan and is celebrated on the whole day of the 15th Shabaan. Shabaan is the 8th month of the Islamic Calendar, It commemorates the entry of our Holy Prophet P.B.U.H into the city of Makkah-e Muharram. Shab-e-Barat is called "Lailatul Barat" in the Arabic language and Shab-e-Barat is observed and celebrated by all of the Muslims all around the world, on this night all followers believe that Allah Almighty opens all doors of forgiveness. As Allah Almighty said:

Shab-e-Barat brings a vast environment of happiness in the lives of Muslims as there are many spiritual activities on this night, Muslims greet each other, forgive each other on their personal issues, they go and meet their relatives and neighbors and spend their lot of time in prayers, also on this occasion Muslims go the graves of their loved ones, they pray for them and distribute food which is called Sabeel "the food given in the name of Allah almighty and is distributed to the poor.

In addition to being The Night Of Blessing, this date is also really important because the 15th of Shabaan is also the birth date of Imam Mehdi(A.S), The Last Imam.
At last, I must conclude that this date in Islam is an important date and all Muslim countries celebrate this day in their own ways but with great zeal and zest and also with strong faith.
